My last two blog posts featured animated .gifs and a video from Melody and Jonathan's engagement session, so now it's time to show you the photos from the playful shoot we did at the Vancouver International Airport where Melody and Jonathan got engaged.

I love working with a videographer because the movement needed for video always adds extra life to my own work. Check out Nate's take on Melody and Jon's sweet relationship and I'll share my vision in the next post.

melody + jonathan | engaged

A few months ago I shot a really fun engagement session with Melody and Jonathan at the Vancouver International Airport. Melody and Jon were the lucky winners of the Love & Free Stuff Contest which I held with Nate of Nate Makes Films and Bailey of Bailey's Brides.

We had a great time running around the airport and it was a treat working with Nate doing videography because it really got my brain thinking in terms of motion and not just still photography... which is why I ended up with three animated .gifs from the session.

leanne + justin | engaged

Leanne and Justin were game for anything on their engagement shoot. Even multiple (multiple!) takes so I could create these animated gifs for them. I think the results were worth it. Fun, right?

Coming next to this blog... the rest of Leanne and Justin's engagement shoot, which was awesome. Can't wait to share!

caralyn + greg | together

Sometimes I think I procrasitnate posting photos on my blog(s) because I don't know what to write about the photos. Or, sometimes the people in the photos are so important to me that I don't know what to say that will do them justice. This is exactly one of those times. Caralyn and Greg are great friends of mine who willingly played model for the day while I experimented with this wonderful location before Buzz and Jen's wedding. It's taken me a while - I shot these last June - but it's time to stop procrastinating and get something on my blog.
Maybe this is a lame thing to say, but I hope it does them justice to simply say, I love these two!
And now, finally, the world can see what a great couple Caralyn and Greg are. I couldn't be happier to document their relationship. Aren't they fun together?
I have known Caralyn for over twenty years and I can honestly say that Caralyn is only getting more gorgeous with the passage of time. The photo above is a perfect example. Hellllloooo Caralyn. Va-va-va-voom!
(And thankfully when I look back at myself twenty years ago I think I've improved as well. Phew!)
